JORD Wood Watch Review

Jord Watch

Hey guys, in this post I’ll be sharing an accessory that I’ve been wearing almost everyday! JORD watches reached out to me a while ago to see if I was interested in showcasing a timepiece from their new collection in my fashion lookbooks.  I took a look on their website and agreed after I saw how beautiful the watches were. 😀

jordwatch1 I picked out a watch from the Ely series in Cherry. This model also comes in Black, Natural Green, and Maple. I chose this over the rest because it had the smallest diameter which would suit my tiny wrist. The watch itself is made from natural wood and has a Citizen Miyota movement with date window. This is my very first “wood watch” but it won’t be my last because I love how organic it looks.

JORD watches are handcrafted from sustainable materials and they are designed to take people back to nature and away from today’s metal & rubber. These babies were made to look stylish but still give you that earthy vibe. The word  JORD is actually Swedish for “earth, soil, land”. Here are some specs from the website:

  • Hardened, Scratch-proof glass face: 26mm diameter
  • Frame / bezel: 34mm diameter
  • Band width: 21.5mm
  • Lug ends: 40mm
  • Single action locking clasp (stainless steel)
  • Premium Citizen Miyota movement with date window

I was worried about the watch being too big for my 6 inch wrist but after removing a few links, the watch was a perfect fit. 🙂
